The Internet is “The place to be” for companies.

If you have a business and don’t have a website, you are losing out on great opportunities for your business. It’s almost as if your business doesn’t exist.  In this modern era, people and companies are on the Internet for information. A website itself can be used to accomplish many different marketing strategies to help your business grow. What makes a website successful?

Texts on your website will be worth even more, when it can be shared on social media! This is not only a compliment for the writer, but also essential for the visibility on the Internet. The more often your content is shared, the higher you’re traffic and visibility on you’re website will be. So make sure that content on your website can be shared as easy as possible.

In order to raise your findability, you’ll first have learn how SEO (search engine optimization) works. When using SEO correctly you will optimise a web page so that it performs to it’s highest potential for search phrases directly related to the pages subject matter or topic. Write a text of minimum 350 words. Make sure you’re text is unique, with one specific topic. By putting key words in to the URL you make it easier for the search engine to recognize what the page is about. Use different kind of headings. Focus as much as possible on making content and don’t let anything distract you. And finally make sure you pay attention to the lay-out of your text. Ranking high in Google is positive, but if visitors bounce direct of your website it is nothing worth.


3. Clear design

The homepage is your company’s face to the world. Increasingly, potential customers will look at your company’s online presence before doing business with you. Give your visitors a clear path into your site from the homepage. Make sure your navigation is visible at the top of the page.


4. Useability

Users visit a site because they want answers, so it’s vitally important that your site gives them what they are looking for. Make it easy for users to find what they’re looking for by arranging related information together. So create an appealing design, which is also usable for your visitors. After all you want to keep them as long as possible on your website.

5. Trustworthy

  1. How do you win the confidence of your visitors? Make sure the company information is prominently put on the home page.  Affiliating yourself with the brands of your business partners shows you’re in good company, suggesting that the visitor will be in good company with you too. Humanize your website, use real images of you and your team


Remember that simplicity is important for websites. Use clear picture material. Provide the photos of a “Alt text”, this also increases the accessibility of your website. Make sure that the Website is responsive. This means that the website works optimally on all kinds of devices. And keep “working” on the website. A blog page is ideal. With the right SEO texts, you’ll increase the findability.
